Sprinkler Winterization

Step 1 – Turn off the main water to the sprinkler system.
Step 2 – Manually drain the system’s water inside the house.
Step 3 – Attach an air compressor to the system.
Step 4 – Push air through the system while cycling through control valves to remove as much water as possible from all of the pipes.
Step 5- All ball valves should be left at 45 degrees/open.
Step 6 – Leave the water off until spring.
